THAT IS AMAZING !

THAT IS AMAZING! On Thursday May 3, team arrived in Manhattan. The city looked really nice and lively. We were exited to see our Hotel, where we will spend our free weekend.

First we went to Flint Hills Discovery center and we learned a lot about the history of Flint Hills. It was so amazing! Then our host families came to pick us up. In the evening we had our dinner at Lazy T Ranch. I have never seen so many different animals at one farm. They had chicken, dogs, horses, cows, lamas, sheeps.... For the dinner we had the best fajitas so far.. After the dinner we got to meet famous cowboy poet Ron Wilson. He had also written one poet to us and that was amazing!

 

In the next morning we had Team presentation with Konza Roraty club. After that we had individual programs for the rest of the day. We were convinced that Kansas State University is the best.. Go wildcats! Campus was really amazing! I met at the campus really amazing business teacher! In the morning I visited advertisement firm, New Boston.. I was almost ready to work with them. The firm was small but so amazing! In the evening my hostfamilies and me went to see High School show, their exchange student from France performed there and that was amazing!


Next morning after the Konza prairie our free weekend began.. Believe me we really needed... Everybody was telling us in Manhattan that we should visit bar street called Aggievili, so of course we had to go there.. well I at least I am happy that I am not anymore University student.. It was also nice that the mall was almost next to our Hotel.. More later with pictures, if I can add them... HILFE!
